Making Bread
Nooo, not that kinda bread!
It’s a big tradition around here that new Techrangers make bread in the office breadmaker on their first week, but this varies.
You might be freaking out right now going “Oh no!! How am I going to manage?!” and the answer is you’re going to do great! We have a recipe for you to follow!
Ingredients you’ll need
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 1/4 teaspoons (or 1 packet) bread machine yeast
- 1 cup (230g) water
- 2 tablespoons (18.5g) vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- (Optional) Herb mixture
Steps
- Add water, vegetable oil, honey, and salt to pan.
(Optional) Add herb mixture to pan. - Add flour to pan.
- Make a well in the flour and add the yeast to the well.
- Place the pan in the machine. Make sure it locks fully. If it is not locked all the way, we get no bread.
- Turn on machine.
- Press Select until a 1 appears on the screen.
- Press Start.
- Look at the timer and get hungry because the wait time is lengthy.
- When its all done, carefully remove the pan from the machine Use a pot holder - it’s hot!
- Extract your prize from the pan. Do NOT use a knife or metal object to remove the bread, it will damage the pan.
- Serve with olive oil and herbs.
